What Is a Senior Authorised Person?
A Senior Authorised Person is responsible for the safe operation, isolation, and maintenance of HV systems—typically 11kV and above. SAPs are authorised to issue safety documentation, perform switching operations, and supervise works on or near HV equipment, ensuring safety and continuity at every stage.
