Date of Project: January 2026 Location: Manchester
About This Project
LV panel inspection and maintenance
What We Did
Overview
Our team was recently tasked with carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a critical Low Voltage (LV) distribution panel. As a key part of the facility’s electrical infrastructure, the LV panel is responsible for safely distributing power to multiple systems across the site. Regular maintenance is essential to prevent faults, sustain reliability, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Objectives
- Ensure the LV panel was operating safely and efficiently
- Identify and address any signs of wear, overheating, or electrical risk
- Test metering, indicators, and isolators for correct function
- Provide the client with assurance of system health and recommendations for ongoing reliability
Work Completed
Our engineers carried out a comprehensive inspection and maintenance programme, including:
- Internal Panel Inspection
- Electrical & Functional Testing
- Safety & Compliance Checks
Outcome
The client now has documented assurance that their LV system is operating safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime or electrical faults. The maintenance visit supports ongoing compliance and contributes to the long‑term reliability of the site's electrical infrastructure.
Customer benefit
- ✔ Improved electrical safety
- ✔ Reduced risk of component failure
- ✔ Verified system health and performance
- ✔ Peace of mind through professional inspection and reporting
